Stayed 3 nights at Amanda and Chris’s Hidden House - I’ve stayed at my fair share of gorgeous Airbnbs but this was one of my favourites. Perfect location in the middle of town, one street away from the taxi drop off point which is great if you’re wheeling a suitcase (cars aren’t allowed in town). The place was beautifully designed, just like the photos and had all the amenities we needed. Most of all, Amanda was the best host I’ve encountered. She was flexible with our check in, gave us a tonne of local recommendations and was just a delight to chat with. Her and Chris really made our stay in Stari Grad a very enjoyable one!

I cannot say enough good things about our stay with Amanda and Chris in Stari Grad. They were extremely kind and gracious hosts, with lots of great recommendations of things to do in the area. The apartment itself was beautiful and in the perfect location, on a quiet street but really close to everything you want to see and do. We hope to go back again someday! 100% recommend.

This is the first Airbnb we have booked into overseas. If they were all like Amanda’s place and the hosts were as lovely and helpful as Amanda, you would not look elsewhere. Stari Grad is gorgeous and a perfect place for a relaxing stay with access to a raft of activities and facilities. Amanda was super proactive and provided a small bible of great information. She arranged transport to and from the port and also booked us a daybed at the wonderful Thia island, which is a little piece of heaven and the most relaxing day spent. The pictures of Hidden House are an accurate reflection and the suite was bright and comfortable. Thank you Amanda and Chris for sharing your delightful property with us.

We can’t say enough good things about Amanda, Chris, and Hidden House. The space was a perfect retreat: comfortable, unique design, and the perfect location in town — steps to anything you want to experience in Stari Grad. But our hosts, Amanda and Chris, are what really made our trip extraordinary. Their knowledge of the area and connections around town make for an unforgettable experience. Whether you’re looking for an amazing new restaurant to try, the best cocktail in town, a secret cove to swim in, a fabulous day out sailing, (all of which we did!)...Chris and Amanda have all the tips and will go out of their way to help make it happen. After a week, we left the island a little dumbfounded at just how fantastic the trip turned out to be and we owe it to them. Thank you Amanda and Chris. We can't wait to visit again!

Every now and then you have a gem of a stay, a home away from home — the apartment beautifully furnished, with warm & cosy lighting; modern amenities like an espresso machine and coffee pods, smart tv with netflix etc; generous provisions of L'Occitane toiletries; everything spotlessly clean. The best sleep guaranteed on a huge comfy bed with amazing pillows and luxurious bed linen.

Great location right in the Stari Grad old town, windows opening to beautiful views of ancient walls and greenery, and the best bistros practically right at the doorstep
